Mobility for everyone: with the ID. EVERY1, Volkswagen is providing a preview of an entry-level electric model

Since the Beetle, Volkswagen has been enabling affordable mobility for millions of people with compact and likeable cars. With the ID. EVERY101 concept car, the German car manufacturer is now showing an entry-level all-electric model. Volkswagen will launch the production version in 2027 – with a starting price of around 20,000 euros. The ID. 2all01 will already be launched in the 25,000-euro class in 2026. Christine Wolburg appointed as Chief Brand Officer of the Volkswagen brand

Christine Wolburg is taking on the newly created position of Chief Brand Officer of the Volkswagen brand with effect from April 1, 2025. Wolburg not only has longstanding experience in the automotive industry but also solid expertise in developing and implementing forward-looking brand experiences. In her new role, Wolburg will be responsible for the global brand experience strategy and will take the holistic experience of the Volkswagen brand to the next level. As CBO, Wolburg will report directly to CEO Thomas Schäfer. In addition, she will take over the marketing management of the Volkswagen brand from Susanne Franz, who will take on a different role within the group.

Superior towing vehicles – Tiguan, Tayron and Passat with all-wheel drive and new powerful turbocharged petrol engines

Volkswagen is expanding the drive range of the best-selling Tiguan and Passat as well as the new Tayron with the most powerful turbocharged petrol engines (TSI). These are coupled to the intelligently controlled 4MOTION all-wheel drive as standard. The combination of TSI and 4MOTION enables towing capacities of up to 2,200 kg (Passat and Tiguan) and 2,500 kg (Tayron with appropriate equipment). The Tiguan and Tayron SUVs can be configured as 2.0 TSI 4MOTION with 150 kW (204 PS) or 195 kW (265 PS). The Passat 2.0 TSI 4MOTION always comes in the more powerful 195 kW version. Sales of the new Volkswagen all-wheel drive models have begun in some markets in Europe. The turbocharged petrol engines complement the most powerful TDI engine with 142 kW (193 PS).
